My PC Chair Broke...

I knew it was to happen just wasn't expecting it to happen today. 

I took a couple days off working because my body was fighting me. So I took a rest. 

Today I went to sit in my chair and the screws finally gave out. So now I'm in need of a new PC chair. Luckily for me I can order it tomorrow, but I'll get it on Tuesday. I needed a new one anyway with armrest I can move up and slide my chair under my desk. I've had this chair for like 5 years I think. So it's time.

Now that I think about it, I'm gonna need a new desk soon as well. Want to get the same one that I currently have cause I like it.  

I am planning on getting things back to somewhat normal. It's just sadly I hit a bump in the road. But I know I'll overcome it.  

Besides things just hitting snags here and there, things are OK. 

So I'm sitting in a broken PC chair working. 😆 🤣 😂 But I know it'll get better. Always does! 

When a relationship just seems different...

Many do not wish to know this message. Especially when it comes to relationships. Family, friends, lovers, co-workers... so forth. You could be deeply in love with someone and/or spent 10+ years with the person. Friendship or more than and there is this shift. This change within your relationship where it's not how it used to be. It's changed and not for the better. 

It may feel like the other person is withdrawing or fading away. Or the relationship just isn't how it was. 

This is Spirit, The Divine, The Creator, The Universe and so forth telling you that you are no longer at the same frequency as before. You are evolving. You are vibrating at a much higher rate that the other person can't follow or keep up and its time to let them go as someone better is coming. 

This is a tough pill to swallow for many. They want this to work out. They try different things. Even lowering their self worth and vibration just to be with them. But Spirit keeps putting things in the path to show them that the person they are trying to be with is not meant for them. 

They are dimming your own light. They are making you settle for less when you deserve better and higher quality connections. 

This person could also be a soul lesson for you to learn to let go. That you can't change them or yourself. That you must learn the art of surrender. 

What will be will be. 

It is a sad and harsh lesson that we must learn. But know it's going to get better in time. Better connections that fit your soul at your vibration.

My name is Brandy and I'm a workaholic.

It's true. I'm a workaholic. I have to be sick or physically down to stop. I've always been this way. At a job I used to work at I was known as the "Queen of OT (overtime)" because I was always signing up for it.  I wanted the money. Extra 5-8 hours on top of my 8 hours was nothing in my eyes. But it did have it's toll. I had no fun. 

I believe why I work so much is because I wasn't happy in my personal life. It kept me out of the house and I could focus on myself. When I worked a lot, I was either alone or in relationships that made me feel alone. I had nothing else better to do so might as well work over. 

But it creates a burnout to the point you eventually get ill. That is spirit saying that's enough. We have to force you to stop. You need balance and fun girl and you're on the verge of a breakdown or burnout. So spirit will kick you out and force you out so you will rest.  

I keep hearing that I need a break. A rest. My mind is racing all these ideas and my body is like no.  Need downtime. So I'm looking into creating days where I have just that. Downtime. 

Mondays and Tuesdays are usually slow for me so I thought maybe do those days as down days. I'm going to double check of course. 

But yes spirit is saying I need this downtime. I need to heal. I need my space to myself. So this will be something I'll look into.  

2024: The Year of Strength

I did this last year and I could have sworn I did it for this year and I didn't.

2024 is a 8 year. It can be about abundance, but in tarot it's about having strength and courage. To tame the lion within. It's also about following your instinct as well.  

Now if you add your birth month and day to this, you get a general idea of how this year will play out. So for me February 3rd. 

So 2+3+2024= 2029

2+0+2+9= 13 (Death)

1+3= 4 (Emperor)

And boy does this hit hard. Especially now. Death of things to create a rebirth that will help me have a stable foundation (Emperor). So it's important to have the strength for these endings so I can work on new beginnings.

Due to my revenue plummeting, my vehicle got repossessed in January. My son's father promised to help pay for it, but stopped last year and I also found out that the insurance he promised also to pay lapsed as well.  

Even though I NEEDED this vehicle, this was not only a wake up call, but also a blessing in disguise. 

I need to work on making my business idea a reality. I need to make a plan. A solid one at that. 

This was a blessing because I can work on getting a car and insurance in MY name and not worry about if another person will help and keep their word. 

This was actually the final step to be able to end the connection with my son's father. This also allows me to look into my own place as well. Yes I do still live with him and his family due to circumstances beyond my control, but things are looking much brighter now. More stability is on its way.  When COVID hit, my plans of moving out changed as I had to help out his family with the money I had saved to move. Let's say he is the King of Arranged Payment Plans. I paid all his bills, except one in full. The one is a monthly payment and the total is like 10 grand and I just didn't have that lying around. LOL

Even though this is not what I wanted to happen, at least not yet, I know there is a better opportunity for me.  Just have to let go and allow.  

I've dealt with Death/Rebirth before. 

I remember leaving a very toxic relationship and my apartment had just a bed on the floor. Then things gradually got better and I got furniture. Eating out was expensive, but I was finally able to get pots, pans, dishes, utensils. 

I've hit rock bottom many times, but always came out ahead. This is just another Death of a old life not serving me for a Rebirth of a life that will for now.

Think on this...

When we lose something or someone, it can be the Universe forcing a situation to happen that you refuse to let go of. 

Like a job. You hate going there everyday. You are drained. You are tired. You can even recuperate on your day off from it. But you refuse to leave it. Due to fear? Due to finances? Due to being loyal to that company?

*POOF* 

"Regretfully," they say, "we have to let you go."

Sadness, despair, feeling lost, upset, rage, anger, hopeless...you may experience one or all of these and this is OK. This is normal. But look at it as a blessing. You already told the universe you weren't happy there. You needed out, but were afraid. So since you didn't want to acknowledge this and work on a plan to get out, you were forced out because you deserve something better. You know you do. But you held on till that rope around your wrist finally broke. 

Now apply this same situation, but in terms of love, relationships, life path. 

A lot of us now are going through this. I'm one of them. 

I've lost things, had things removed, relationships ending...because something better is coming and I wasn't happy. 

Some things removed was to end connections. 

Death. Rebirth. 

Always view endings as better beginnings.

Yesterday was a reminder...

When you work on psychic online sites, they can let you go in an instant without explanation. They have no obligation to say why they let you go. 

When it comes to following the rules of their site I am always making sure I follow. There may be readings I do for practice to heighten my skills that they consider harmful, like health, but I do them outside with willing volunteers to test my gifts. 

Right now I'm testing how I see missing persons. What lead to them disappearing, what possibly happened, if they are alive or not. After a couple of weeks I check in on the status of what's happened so far.  I've been 50/50 but I've gotten better at the feeling and energy of things. 

Anywho...

I tried to sign into a psychic site and couldn't. Said that account was closed. 

So instead of thinking rationally about it, I'm in panic mode. Because these sites are so notorious for ending accounts without explanation. 

Seven years I was on this site. And no warning. Just account closed. 

I emailed them and asked them why and if I'd still get paid.  They are also known to not pay either if you have been "fired." 

They closed the account temporarily till I can submit a W9 for tax purposes. Once I do that, my account will be reinstated. 

So you couldn't send me a email about it? Give me a deadline to send it in? You just have me in panic mode? Sheesh...

So that's getting done by Friday. 

This is part of the reason why I'm preferring my readings to be done on my site here, etsy, or premium chat. One it's cheaper. Premium Chat is an on demand service like other sites, but I can charge less, but make same amount. I get 60% of what I charge. 

The next one I use I get about 42%, next one 36% and the last one 32%. 

Here's hoping things go smoothly and I can work on a plan for transition.

Listen to your mind, body, soul...

It seems here lately everyone wants my schedule and my schedule is complex. 

Normally I try to be available from 5pm to 1am MST. I try to stay on longer if I can. Even with this schedule, I may have to take a break and I did today. 

About an hour in, I needed downtime. I just felt drained. I have been dealing with my osteoarthritis in my knees a lot, especially with the change of weather we had here. Roughly 8 inches of snow combined on Thursday and Friday. Plus now my jaw pain is back. 😆 Complain, complain, complain! 

I remember having my son and having my c-section where I was numbed from the waist down. That was such a glorious feeling because I had no knee pain. I wished I could have that pain numbed all the time. And I treasure that pain free moment more than anything. 

But that aside, I was feeling drained today so I took a nap because I felt it was needed and apparently it was. Slept for a few hours and then I felt much better. Constant pain can make you tired and drained. My knees lately have been in that mode. I've been using ointments and a Tylenol/ibuprofen concoction that a late nurse friend of mine recommended at times when it's really bad, and it's like a losing battle. I've also asked my guides as well.  

Chronic pain sucks. I could get a medical marijuana card, but honestly I'm lazy. 😆 Plus the pain of having to move. I keep promising to do it when the pain isn't so bad, but I forget. Something comes up.  

I do prefer natural remedies though. 

But schedule is up on some sites, just know if I'm not there I needed a break or most cases my son needed me. Plus I want to be 100% available.

Why would a well known psychic be both right AND wrong in predictions?

This is a great question that has a answer most don't want to hear. 

Free will.

People can change their minds you know. 

Change their destiny. 

Especially if told where they are currently going in their life. 

It isn't a set in stone thing due to free will. 

However...

Some people will refuse to change their mind so it is a set in stone choice. So some predictions can be in actual facts and outcomes. 

So how does one tell. 

Nervous energy versus stable energy. 

If the energy feels nervous or shakey it isn't a set in stone outcome and can change. 

If the energy is stable and solid it means this person will not change their mind. 

It is what it is. 

This is from my experience of course. 

Which is why I can answer in a instant at times yes or no or it is unknown because it can go either way. And most wanting a definite answer don't like the latter or don't understand why. It's because of nervous energy and the person has not fully made a definite choice. I can tell you where it stands now, but if nervous energy is felt, I'd have to advise you it can change or it's still up in the air. 

Keep this in mind. Most psychics, past or present, have been put in a bind to hurry with a answer now and not able to distinguish this kind of energy. This is why I take my time to make sure before I give a answer.

So it doesn't matter..

I had a feeling, but I wanted to clarify this as well.  

It doesn't matter what I charge as I've tried various amounts, from $1.99/minute to $14.99/minute, I'm still losing revenue. 

So dammed if I do, damned if I don't.  

So I thought what about the average price?

$7.99/minute is the average price of the first page of advisors. 

Now taken to account that I'm certified in being a Angel Guide, Angel Card Reader, Angel Tarot Reader, and Moonology (which I don't really offer as a service, but I'm wondering if I should). I also have been doing psychic tarot readings since I was 14. So like 34 years experience, online since 2011 so about 13 years. 

I'm pondering price points here.  Because either way, as it seems, I'm losing. Do I risk bad reviews and more clients or very little chats but better clients and reviews. Chats are still few either side. Not how it used to be.  

So I'm going to have to think on this. 

Wondering why I'm charging such a high price?

On one site I've increased my price per minute a lot, but it's slowly going down each day. 

Why? 

I'm testing out a theory. I've lost 70% of revenue comparing this year to last year. 

To try to combat this I even lowered my prices and still lost revenue. No clients. 

I've noticed a few things on the site, but I have to test it out. What do I have to lose? I've already lost a huge amount of revenue. And it seems no matter what I charge. $1.99/minute which is the lowest I'm allowed to go to $14.99/minute no business. 

I blame this mostly on their fees that they are charging clients that I have no hand in.  But they do not see it as that.  Greed changes people and companies. 

I used to love working on the platform. I've been with them since 2011. Now I'm just saddened. So I'm trying to see where things are going.  Testing out a theory....

Never trust star ratings on sites...

I know we all depend on star ratings to know if someone or something is good or if it is worth buying. We trust other customers with their reviews on things to help us make choices. Sometimes though those ratings are not entirely accurate. 

I'm going through a dry spell on a site due to false reviews having to be removed. My profile on this site should show me at 4.7 stars, but it has me sitting at 4.4 stars. Since this is considered a low rating by some, this has caused my business in that site to tank. 

So what should a customer do instead? 

Read at least 20 reviews. Even the bad ones then decide if you want to give it a chance. If you are pulled to work with someone or to something research it.  More than likely, the negative reviews have no feedback which means they didn't get the answer they wanted or the item wasn't what they thought it would be. If there is a negative feedback read it and decide if you should read between the lines of it.  

Always use your judgment.

Why you should never ask a psychic how someone feels about you!

This question I get like 97% of the time. 

"How does this person feel about me?"

This is a very annoying one for me and a pet peeve because that is not the question you should be asking.  

Let me explain...

The person may love you now, but will they love you a year, 5 years, 10 years or so down the road? 

Or they might not love you now, but might in a year, 5 years, 10 years or so time. 

Do you really want to wait or engage with this? 

NO! Absolutely not!  

So what IS the right question to ask? 

"Is it in my highest good to pursue this connection with ____ for a long term commitment?" 

With this question you are getting the answer you seek as a whole.  If they have feelings or will have feelings, and if there is a future here. This will sum it all up for you.

Why do online psychics charge what they charge?

You may see online psychics charging high rates and wonder why? 

Are they really making that per minute? 

No we are not. Plus we are lucky we get a 5 minute call each hour. 

We pay connection fees, platform fees, and in some cases featured listing fees to be seen on a website. 

Some, like myself, have certifications and charge based off of those.  We want to make what is at least industry standard which is:

$120/hour for a tarot reader so like $2/minute 

$200/hour for a psychic so about $3.34/minute. 

Some sites charge a standard rate per minute and that reader/psychic may only get $0.30 to $0.60 per minute. And remember we are lucky we get a 5 minute call an hour. 

This is due to so many readers on a site, plus how the economy is.  

Online psychics should be sharing their gifts for free or at least charge a bare minimum! Why won't they do that? 

For starters it's our bread and butter. It's our job. 9-5 does not work with the overly sensitive, empath who feel everything energy wise. It's overwhelming. Plus it pays the bills, puts a roof over my head, and food on the table for my son and I. 

If I charge the bare minimum on a psychic site this is what happens:

1) The client doesn't take the guidance seriously and comes back asking the same question because they are not following the advice given. Charging more puts more responsibility to the client to follow the guidance since they paid more for it.  

2) The client wants a fairytale romance story. They think they will get it with a cheap psychic. When they don't, they get mad and leave 1 star reviews because they did not get what they wanted to hear and paid for.  Even energetically we sense these calls but we can't refuse them because it ruins our placement on the site and we could be kicked off. A 1 star review can be possibly removed depending on its context though. 

3) The client is a competitor who wants to destroy the psychic reader they called.  So they will 1 star a psychic with no review to help bring that psychic down from the category and hopefully the competitor above them to be seen. 

This is why you may typically see psychics charging $6.99 or more per minute to deflect those kinds of clients. It's a rarity a psychic will get that type of client if they charge that amount or higher. 

Why do rates increase?

Because that sites fees increased for the psychic so the psychic may increase their rate to be able to make the same amount that they were making.  

My rates are lower here and on my Etsy page because I make more with less fees.
