When was the last time you experienced joy?
What brings you joy?
What has held you back from experiencing joy?
Joy can mean many things to many people. Opening your eyes from sleep.
Feeling the warm sun on your skin.
Watching the snow fall as you have a cup of coffee.
Playing in the rain.
Watching your children being happy and carefree.
I know many have lost your joy. Especially when you are working so much that you can't even spare 5 minutes to think. Or having to take care of someone. Maybe you lost a loved one and you are still grieving.
Sometimes you have to find joy in depressing situations. Remembering the good times you had with your loved one. Maybe a day you had that was the best day ever and how can it happen again? Thinking of something that brings a smile to your face. These are joys.
It's important for you to find joy in your life. You need to smile. Find your happiness. No matter how small or big. If it brings you joy, it's worth it.
If you can write down things that bring you joy or have brought you joy and keep it with you. When you feel lost or depressed, reach for your list. Allow the joys and smiles to come.
Blessings,
Brandy
